Harvard Apparatus donated a model PHD 22/2000 syringe pump for use as the "droplet emitter" in our experiment. The PHD 22/2000 is a state-of-the-art, programmable pump capable of ejecting precise amounts of water at specific intervals of time, giving us the ability to control the velocity and amount of water in a droplet.
